Watching the horrific scenes on TV; people being washed away by the mega waves like it was just a branch from a tree. totally helpless, so frail so... pathetic.

i felt like i was watching the movie 'Day after tomorrow'. The death toll has soared to a 58,000. What is becoming of us really. Thinking back, there was a SARS, an epidemic that took many innocent lives away, a terrorist attack from Osama some years back.Not too long ago was the bird flu that had Singapore's main source of chicken cut off.

What else is waiting for us? another disease? perhaps. With the enormous amount of corpes floating in the ocean, lying all over the streets, there may not be sufficient time to clear all the bodies. lots of decomposing bodies and water(sea) and warmth makes a perfect breeding place for diseases such as cholera and hepatatis. Then the virus might spread far and wide; the WHO(World Health Org) predicts a double death toll due to the forecasted disease.

To think i was shopping merrily at town while thousands were wiped out. KK told me a fortune teller named Jasper said that a disaster would occur every century or so, to reduce the human population.But he said lately the time has been reduced, so life sucking tragedies happen like once every 50 years.It's a Buddhist belief.

My mother said Judgement Day is approaching.
'Be prepared.' she tells me solemnly. i wringe and turn away.
' The book of Life may not have your name on that day. ' i nod and try to concentrate on a drama series being played on tv.


'I saw a tourist in a bikini with her leg ripped off clinging on to a tree. She was bleeding badly. The hotel staff later tried to revive her but she died,' she said.

'Hey how does this skirt look on me?? Does it make my legs look fat?' I said.

The comparison makes me feel so shallow and immatured.

Now seems anyone might just die.
Anytime soon. Taken away by some earthquake or epidemic.
' Live & love ' . i did that. i'm glad.
but dere's still so much i haf yet to do. Work and be a group of gorgeous,confident women.
Travel around the globe with my mates and sweetie.
Marry. ( i hope it's keith )
Have a fantastic honeymoon & marriage; oh i wanna be rich, dun haf to be a millionaire, i don't need so much money. just enough for me to spend abundantly. =)
have a lil boy & girl.
Grow old together.
watch my kids become adults.
be grandparents.
only then i'm willing to die.
