Up Up Lot!

Shang Shang Qian when directly translated from Mandarin to English is Up Up Lot.

So Singlish eh?

But it's a very good lot!!!


First, you had to use a 'shaker' and shake shake shake, & shake somemore until one lot falls out.

mine took at least 30 seconds.

The lot number was 11.

So while shaking, you had to be sincere and sort of 'ask' the Gods your question in your mind.

I asked whether Keithy is gonna be the one i am destined to be with, and then even 'confirmed' with the Gods by using this two wooden crescent shaped things, i had to throw them and if you got one facing up and the other facing down, THEN it is confirmed that the particular lot is correct.

So holding my bamboo lot stick, i walked to the counter and the temple, er..... what do you call them?? er.... uhhh... temple-keeper???

Yeah, he flipped open this book and gave me an interpretation of my lot.

And he said,
'Of all of you( me max & ting), you got the best lot. It's a shang shang qian. What did you ask about?'

I tried not to giggle, and replied,
' Uh... ask got choose correct guy anot lor. hee. '

He chuckled 'Ha, correct guy a not ar.... hmm.... you must quarrel with this guy. If you all don't quarrel then he's not the guy.'

Yeah of coz we quarrel, like say.... 2 days ago?? YAY!! =x for once, quarrels are good!!!!!!
Quarrel more, Max says.

I was very happy my lot was such a good one! i went away with a huge grin on my face.
