My sister calls David Beckham David Bacon. I told her Beckham was coming to NYP yesterday and she echoed after me, tho slightly mispronounced, 'WAH BACON coming to ur school ar! So Good!! '

i flinched in horror and screeched, 'BEEEECCCKHAAAM LAR!!!'

Anyway.... David was gorgeous tho i sat like 200 thousand rows away from the stage. okay, 20 rows. But that was bad enough.

It was some NYAA(National Youth Achievement Award) award giving ceremony, and (oh-my-gawd) DAvid Beckham was the guest-of-honour to give away the award to this lady Victoria(his wife! =x) QUEK.

The event was really a boring one if not for the dazzling celeb. He wore a all white sports outfit, which made him look like a some shiny glowing object on my camera phone. But boy, was he cute!

But it struck me how big this NYAA was, so much so that even the British Commissioner & David Beckham came to visit NanYang Polytechnic. Not that i belittle my school, but you know, NYP??! Of all places? For a moment i wanted to take part in NYAA, and aim to win some lifetime award and get some gorgeous celeb to give away a medal to me.





Yeah right, in my dreams.


We also had this guy... Khoo something. oops. =x He is Singapore's very own adverturer, he climbed Mt Everest and many else, and is soon going to swim across The English Channel. He will be swimming for weeks. His speech was quite inspiring actually, I was very impressed with his achievements. 'Community, Courage & C.... uhhh..... something.' he said.

Oh and Beckham was here for like.... just 15 minutes. 'Very tight schedule.'
