He's finally returning.

I've waited patiently for 2 weeks... I've been a good girl- I go home early everyday, I only go to school and work. No other forms of entertainment for me! Ha, okay, I lied.

I watched- Chicken Little! Which was really cute and funny. I love animated cartoons.. Madagascar was really fantastic too! They just make your day and make you laugh. :)

A lot has happened in these two weeks of his absence.




In the first week, I was still in a frenzy(oh i might still be), finishing up ICA's and proposals.

Over the weekend I had a X'mas lunch with my company at Ichiban Sushi, where I had my first bite of sashimi, I know... how unexpected yes? But I have a sensitive tummy and I'm afraid raw food will make them do cartwheels.





Well, WOWEE! I stomached a few pale looking slices of dunno what, and some red and orange slices of fish. While there wasn't any strange fishy smell, the unusual texture of the tender fish scared me, and I hurriedly stuffed cucumber into my mouth, and lotsa ginger slices, hoping my tongue would not be able to taste and feel the fish, but the veggies instead. But it was okay...



and yeah, taking me to Kushin-Bo, that Japanese buffet restaurant, no matter how fantastic, would be an utter waste of monies, since I can't appreciate their food for nuts. Perhaps in future, when I have become better accustomed to its taste.





Oh, and going back to my restaurant outing, we were made to play some lame game, which was to identify flaws in the table setting. -.- LAME can. But it was pretty fun, in a way, I had fun. :D
Strange, but true. Company gatherings make you feel more bonded somehow. :

Me and a very old but close friend made up!














I'm so glad.




It was her birthday, and I was sitting in front of computer writing a letter to Mickey when I looked up at the screen and realised the date was 9.12.05, which I instantly was reminded of her, because she used to nag at me and another friend, 'Don't forget my birthday huh! 912, 912! The bus you take everyday is my birth date!!!'



I hesitated for a moment before looking into my phone for her number, and realised I had deleted it! oops.




Fortunately! I found a life saver online[MSN], and she's rarely online!



I told her to help me pass the message to the birthday girl.







I went to bed. And birthday girl sms-ed me!





And a long msg too.

Now I wasn't exactly expecting that. I was just expecting a 'Hey thanks :)' at most.




Surprised I was, but pleasantly surprised.




Over sms, we talked and cleared the air of uncertainty :)


















aaaah.





I feel a sense of relief and unspoken joy.






And it's all called fate! Or coincidence, or God's will!

If Mickey hadn't left for Taiwan, I would have to reason to write him a letter, instead, I'd probably be sitting in the armchair and chatting with him thru the phone, but because he did, and I was feeling depressed and bitter that night[over him!], I sat in front of my com and started writing. And if it wasn't for higher power, our life saviour wouldn't be so conveniently online for me to msg her! Ah! See see see!



okay, enough for the two weeks.
